November 18, 2015 | 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Recent national events have brought to light the issue of deep civil unrest facing America’s minority populations, proving that the topic of race relations is still at the forefront of both social and media consciousness. Through a curated conversation led by noted Fort Worth Star Telegram columnist and community activist Bob Ray Sanders, this complicated hot-button issue was discussed by expert panelists Devoyd “Dee” Jennings, Fort Worth Metropolitan Black Chamber of Commerce president; Jim Riddlesperger, TCU presidential scholar; Clarence Broadnax, civil rights activist and key organizer of the 1964 Picadilly Cafeteria protest; and Dennis Simon, Altshuler Distinguished Professor of Political Science, SMU.
