| $25

ATFG-TeacherWorkshop-graphic_822x320

This interdisciplinary workshop will pair The Sixth Floor Museum’s temporary exhibit, A Time For Greatness with Karen Blessen and 29 Pieces’ new program, the Dallas Respect Project.

We will tour the A Time For Greatness exhibit that covers the 1960 Presidential Campaign and use it as a jumping off point to discuss changes over the last 15 presidential elections and why teaching respect and compassion is more important than ever. Teachers will learn to facilitate the Respect Project in their classrooms and will be part in the Respect Art Project, which will place 25,000 pieces of art around Dallas during the 2016 election season.

29 Pieces and the Dallas Respect Project seeks to enhance quality of life in our city by using art to realize the highest social ideals such as respect for all living creatures, social and racial justice, nonviolence and the importance of creative expression.

$25 | Seating for up to 50 teachers | Reserve your spot here
