West End Historic District museums help visitors keep transportation costs down and save money on admission.

DART Passengers Get Perks at Local Area Museums

DALLAS/July 22, 2008—DART and TRE passes not only keep transportation costs down—they can also save passengers money on trips to some of the most visited attractions in the Metroplex. Effective immediately, The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza, the Dallas Holocaust Museum and the Old Red Museum offer visitors $2.00 off full price admission when they present a valid Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) or Trinity Railway Express (TRE) pass. The offer is good year-round, but cannot be applied to other discounts. Valid daily, weekly, monthly and annual passes are all accepted.

About The Sixth Floor Museum
The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza chronicles the assassination and legacy of President John F. Kennedy, interprets and supports the Dealey Plaza National Historic Landmark District and the John F. Kennedy Memorial Plaza, and presents contemporary culture within the context of presidential history. Located at 411 Elm Street in the West End Historic District of downtown Dallas, the Museum is open every day except Thanksgiving and Christmas. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday-Sunday and 12 to 6 p.m. Monday. Audio guides for the permanent exhibit on the sixth floor are available in seven languages, and a youth version is available in English. For more information, visit or call 214.747.6660 or toll-free 888.485.4854.
