This image shows Vice President Lyndon Johnson's wife, Lady Bird, as she is escorted from Parkland Hospital to Dallas Police Chief Jesse Curry's car for the short trip back to Dallas Love Field. This picture was taken just a few minutes before 1:30pm and the official announcement of President Kennedy's death.
