The photograph was taken on November 22, 1963 by Dallas Times Herald photographer Bob Jackson and shows the crowds gathered in downtown Dallas for the presidential motorcade. The crowd is pictured at the northeast corner of Main and Ervay Streets about three minutes before the assassination, standing in front of Dreyfuss & Son clothing store, across the street from H.L. Green department store.
