Parkland Hospital: Voices from History

All Exhibits

This exhibition tells the story of the men and women with firsthand knowledge of what happened at Parkland Memorial Hospital on November 22, 1963. Through artifacts, photographs and selections from the Museum's Oral History Collection, the exhibition presents eyewitness accounts from that turbulent afternoon.

An integral element of Parkland Hospital: Voices from History, the Museum's Oral History Collection includes the memories of eyewitnesses, law enforcement officials, members of the media, hospital personnel, White House officials, civic and community leaders and others related to the events. These candid firsthand accounts provide insight into the cultural history of Dallas, recount the impact of the assassination and bestow future generations with a tangible link to the past.
