Description and Relevance of Holding:
The A. C. Greene Papers document the Dallas response to the JFK assassination. They were assembled by A. C. Greene, historian, author, and journalist, during his tenure as editor of the editorial page of the Dallas Times-Herald. The collection contains correspondence, Times-Herald editorials, unpublished editorials, letters to the editor, poetry, and a Greene report on the assassination. This collection is unprocessed, but a box inventory is available.

The Fort Worth Star-Telegram Collection contains photographic prints and negatives showing JFK’s visit to Fort Worth on the evening and morning before his assassination. It also includes photos taken in Dallas following the assassination and photos of the funerals of Dallas Police Officer J.D. Tippit and Lee Harvey Oswald.

The Jack White John F. Kennedy Assassination Collection contains correspondence, research files, periodicals, newsletters, newspapers, and photographs assembled by Jack White, well-known JFK researcher and author of The Many Faces of Lee Harvey Oswald. This collection has recently arrived in Special Collections and is unprocessed, although a box inventory is available.

The JFK Newspaper Collection contains original issues of local, Texas, and national newspapers and periodicals related to the JFK assassination, November 20, 1963 through 1988.

The Squire Haskins Photography Collection contains aerial photographs taken of Dallas landmarks, cityscapes, and neighborhoods including Dealey Plaza and the Triple Underpass in the days following the assassination.

Tejano Voices oral history collection includes interviews with Adán Gonzalez, Albert Peña Jr., Aguinaldo Zamora, and Richard Telles in which they describe their individual efforts in establishing Viva Kennedy Clubs across Texas.
