This image shows Dallas Police officers in the intersection of Houston and Elm Streets securing the perimeter around Texas School Book Depository on November 22, 1963. The negative is on Kodak Tri-X Pan Film. This image is labeled #16 on section 3 of negative strip 28.The old TMS record for the images on this negative strip indicate that the photographer was William Allen. Based on research conducted by collections intern Mark Davies in June and July 2012, curatorial and collections staff concluded that Allen did indeed take these pictures.
