Image 3 from Negative Strip 20: Parkland of hearse leaving Parkland Hospital

Original 35mm black and white negative taken by Dallas Times Herald staff photographer Bob Jackson. This image shows the hearse carrying the body of President Kennedy leaving Parkland Hospital for Love Field on November 22, 1963. The negative is on Kodak Tri-X Pan Film. The image is the third image on section 1 of negative strip 20.The old TMS record for the images on this negative strip indicate that the photographer might have been Bob Jackson. Based on research conducted by collections intern Mark Davies in June and July 2012, curatorial and collections staff concluded that Bob Jackson is the most likely person to have taken the pictures but we are not 100% certain he did.
