Original 35mm black and white negative taken by Dallas Times Herald staff photographer Darryl Heikes. This image shows the presidential motorcade progressing down Main Street on the morning of November 22, 1963. The Secret Service vehicle, directly behind the presidential limousine, with agents on the running boards is visible in the image. The negative is on Kodak Tri-X Pan Film. The image is labeled #4A on section 1 of negative strip 9.The old TMS record for the images on this negative strip attributed the photographs to Darryl Heikes.
