Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson, candidate for Vice President, in downtown Dallas during a parade held on September 13, 1960. The photographer stood on Akard Street near the northwest corner of the intersection with Jackson Street. A crowd of bystanders surround the campaign candidates' vehicle, and only the back of Kennedy and Johnson's heads are visible.
