John Weeks Oral History
Videotaped oral history interview with John Weeks. Weeks was an editorial assistant at the Dallas Times Herald in the early 1960s. He recalled receiving a letter at the newspaper from Lee Harvey Oswald prior to the Kennedy assassination. Interview conducted at The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza on July 31, 1998 by Bob Porter. The interview is one hour and seven minutes long.

By 1976, John Weeks was working as associate director of the Office of Medical Information at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Dallas. His boss at the time was Bob Fenley, who had been a longtime colleague of Weeks at the Dallas Times Herald. Fenley, who testified before the Warren Commission in 1964, was at Dallas Love Field, Parkland Memorial Hospital and Dallas police headquarters during the Kennedy assassination weekend. - Stephen Fagin, Curator
