The surroundings are similar to the pergola structures at Dealey Plaza. The slide is in a cardboard mount that reads "KODACHROME TRANSPARENCY / PROCESSED BY [Kodak label]" on one side. On the other side in black print text is "19 / MAY 64D." At the bottom of the slide printed in yellow text is, "MADE IN U.S.A.” Handwritten above the image in red ink is "As." George Reid was a longtime John F. Kennedy supporter who campaigned for him in Texas.
