Nota curatorial:

I had the honor of conducting the Museum's second videotaped oral history with Mr. Day in 2006. Near the conclusion of our interview, I inquired if he had any artifacts that he could share with the Museum. His wife brought out a briefcase that held most of his crime scene investigation equipment and supplies used in 1963. Previously unaware that these treasures were of value to anyone, he readily agreed to donate his investigative kit to the Museum. - Stephen Fagin, Associate Curator
