Image 21 from Negative Strip 16: Parkland of a man speaking to reporters during a press conference

Image #21 on 35mm Negative Strip 16Black and white; HorizontalThe old TMS record for the images on this negative strip did not identify a photographer. Based on research conducted by collections intern Mark Davies in Junio and Julio 2012, curatorial and collections staff concluded that while the specific photographer cannot be identified, we do know it was one of two men: There were two DTH photographers at Parkland Hospital that day who stayed for the press conference - Eamon Kennedy and John Mazziotta. One of them took these photos. Bob Jackson, who was at Parkland earlier, was not present at the press conference. (Lindsey Richardson, 8/1/12) Also noted at the 2012 meeting: Frost Cabluck is visible in a light colored jacket. (Lindsey Richardson 7/10/2013) According to later curatorial research, the photographer in the seersucker jacket is not Jerry or Harry Cabluck, both photographers for the Fort Worth Star-Telegram who were present at the press conference. And "Frost Cabluck" is not an actual person. The man in the seersucker remains unidentified. (Lindsey Richardson 9/27/2013)Malcolm Kilduff announces JFK's death at 1:30 pm. Bob Welch, of WBAP-TV, is behind the camera
