Original 35mm black and white negative taken by a Dallas Times Herald staff photographer. This image shows a hearse from the Oneal Funeral Home carrying the body of President Kennedy, leaving Parkland Hospital on Noviembre 22, 1963. The images on this negative strip were taken by a Dallas Times Herald staff photographer. There were three photographers at Parkland Hospital that day: John Mazziotta, Bob Jackson and Eamon Kennedy. It is unknown which of the three took these pictures. The negative is on Kodak Tri-X Pan Film. The image is labeled #26 on section 1 of negative strip 14.Black and white; Horizontal; Overlaps with image 27 because of camera jamThe old TMS record for the images on this negative strip did not identify a photographer. Based on research conducted by collections intern Mark Davies in Junio and Julio 2012, curatorial and collections staff concluded that while the specific photographer cannot be identified, we do know it was one of three men: There were three DTH photographers assigned to Love Field that morning - Eamon Kennedy, Bob Jackson and John Mazziotta.
