Original 35mm black and white negative taken by Dallas Times Herald staff photographer William Allen. This image shows Dallas Police officers in the intersection of Elm and Houston streets on Noviembre 22, 1963. The negative is on Kodak Tri-X Pan Film. This image is labeled #3 on section 1 of negative strip 27.Labeled J24 on contact sheets 1989.100.0063 & 1989.100.0064 The old TMS record for the images on this negative strip indicate that the photographer was William Allen. Based on research conducted by collections intern Mark Davies in Junio and Julio 2012, curatorial and collections staff concluded that Allen did indeed take these pictures.
