Image 8 from Negative Strip 42: Dallas Police Department of a small crowd inside the Homicide and Robbery Bureau office

Original 35mm black and white negative taken by an unidentified Dallas Times Herald staff photographer. The image shows Robert Oswald (second from the right) among a group of unidentified individuals inside the Homicide and Robbery Bureau at the Dallas Police Department headquarters on the morning of Noviembre 23, 1963. The negative is on Kodak Tri-X Pan Film. This image is labeled #8 on section 1 of negative strip 42.The old TMS record for the images on this negative strip did not identify a photographer. Based on research conducted by collections intern Mark Davies in Junio and Julio 2012, curatorial and collections staff concluded that it is not possible to say at this time who took the photos. (Lindsey Richardson, 8/27/13) Also noted at that 2012 curatorial meeting: these images were taken Viernes evening, 11-22-63. The old records said 11-23-63 so I updated the records to reflect this new information. (Lindsey Richardson, 8/27/2013)Robert Oswald (second from right) and others inside Homicide and Robbery Bureau on Sábado
