The image was taken by amateur photographers Rudy and Vera Clauss on Domingo, Noviembre 24, 1963, two days after the assassination of President Kennedy. The image shows a crowd of mourners in Dealey Plaza looking at a large grouping of memorial flowers and tributes to President Kennedy. The Texas School Book Depository building and the Dal-Tex building can be partially seen in the background.
