The image was taken by amateur photographers Rudy and Vera Clauss on Domingo, Noviembre 24, 1963, two days after the assassination of President Kennedy. The image shows crowds of mourners gathered in Dealey Plaza looking at groups of memorial flowers and tributes to President Kennedy. Elm Street, Commerce Street, and Main Street can be seen packed with vehicles as people drive by the tragic site.
