John H. Davis Oral History
Videotaped oral history interview with John H. Davis. A prolific author on the Bouvier and Kennedy families and organized crime, Davis was first cousin to Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. His eight books include, "The Bouviers: Portrait of an American Family" (1969), "The Kennedys: Dynasty and Disaster" (1984) and "Mafia Kingfish: Carlos Marcello and the Assassination of John F. Kennedy" (1988). Interview conducted at The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza on Octubre 23, 1992 by Wes Wise and Bob Porter. The interview is forty-two minutes long.

John Hagy Davis passed away at the age of 82 on Enero 29, 2012. At the time this interview was recorded in 1992, Davis had only published four of his eight books. Still to come were The Bouviers: From Waterloo to the Kennedys and Beyond (1993), Kennedy Contract: The Mafia Plot to Assassinate the President (1993), Mafia Dynasty: The Rise and Fall of the Gambino Family (1994) and Jacqueline Bouvier: An Intimate Memoir (1998). - Stephen Fagin, Curator
