Letter sent to Reverend William A. Holmes at Northaven Methodist Church from The Very Reverend C. L. Kimbrough, Director of St. Joseph's House in Sherry, Wisconsin. In reference to a controversial sermon Holmes preached in Dallas on Domingo, Noviembre 24, 1963 that was later nationally television, Kimbrough thanks Holmes for his stand against hate and intolerance.Letter is hand-written on letterhead paper and reads as follows:"St. Joseph's HouseP.O. I am, myself, a Southerner and have been much ashamed of 'my people' frequently in the past years, but nothing can compare with the recent shock of our president's death.
