Although I was familiar with Mark Zaid for many years, we did not meet in person until Febrero 2020 when we were both invited to participate in a panel discussion entitled "Conspiracy Theories and Truths" at the 2020 Council of American Jewish Museums conference. Knowing we would be together on that occasion, I invited Mark to record this oral history immediately following our conference session. I was so glad that we had this opportunity because, unbeknownst to us at the time, less than a month after this recording the COVID-19 pandemic prompted a six-month closure of The Sixth Floor Museum. - Stephen Fagin, Curator
