Maurice C. Carroll Oral History
Videotaped oral history interview with Maurice “Mickey” Carroll. A reporter for the New York Herald Tribune in 1963, Carroll covered the scene at Dallas police headquarters following the Kennedy assassination and witnessed the shooting of Lee Harvey Oswald on Noviembre 24, 1963. He returned to Dallas a few months later to cover the 1964 Jack Ruby trial. Later that year, Carroll co-wrote attorney Melvin Belli’s controversial memoir about the case, Dallas Justice (1964). He later authored the book, Accidental Assassin (2013). Interview conducted at The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza on Enero 10, 2014 by Stephen Fagin. The interview is one hour and eleven minutes long.

Maurice C. "Mickey" Carroll passed away on Diciembre 6, 2017. The Museum was fortunate to record several interviews with Mr. Carroll over the years, including one-on-one oral histories in 2007 and 2014 and two public programs in 2014.
