Robert Wening Oral History

Videotaped oral history interview with Robert Wening. A fourth grader at the time of the assassination in 1963, Wening became an admirer of President Kennedy as an adult. In later years, he became a researcher, collector and member of the international organization Kennedy Political Items Collectors (KPIC).Interview conducted at The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza on Abril 19, 2004 by Stephen Fagin. The interview is fifty-one minutes long.

Kennedy Political Items Collectors (KPIC) is a specialty chapter of the non-profit American Political Items Collectors (APIC) organization. APIC was founded in 1945 and, as of 2024, has more than 2,000 members. Founded more than fifty years ago, KPIC is one of ten specialty chapters. KPIC's longtime director and newsletter editor, Harvey Goldberg, recorded an oral history in 2017.
