Join the Museum Viernes, Septiembre 26, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. for a Living History event, part of the Museum’s series featuring childhood recollections. This series coincides with run of the special exhibition, Colorful Memories, Noviembre 22 Through a Child’s Eyes, a look at the Kennedy assassination through the lens of childhood. This month the Museum welcomes veteran Dallas/Fort Worth broadcast producer and journalist for more than four decades, John Sparks. Sparks saved the original WFAA-TV/Channel 8 films and videotapes of Kennedy assassination news coverage from being destroyed in the early 1980s. On Noviembre 22, 1963, as a trumpet player in the Eastern Hills High School band, Sparks performed at the presidential breakfast at the Hotel Texas in Fort Worth. Included with Museum admission.
