Presidential Visits to Dallas with author Steven Butler

Join the Museum on Viernes, Febrero 14 at 1:00 p.m. in the Seventh-Floor Gallery for a special program with Dallas historian Steven Butler, author of You Can’t Say Dallas Doesn’t Love You, Mr. President, Presidential Visits to Big D. In advance of Presidents Day, this program will highlight presidential visits to Dallas, with a special emphasis on visits made by John F. Kennedy. Included with Museum admission.

The author will be signing copies of his book prior to the program in the Museum Store.

Dallas native Steven R. Butler is an associate professor of history at Richland College in Dallas and Collin College in Plano. He’s the author of more than a dozen books, including John Neely Bryan: The Father of Dallas (2016) and “You Can’t Say Dallas Doesn’t Love You, Mr. President” Presidential Visits to Big D (2023), and a frequent contributor to Legacies Dallas History Journal.
