Sid Davis

After covering the 1960 presidential campaign for Westinghouse Broadcasting, Davis became their White House Correspondent and closely followed Presidents Kennedy, Johnson, and Nixon. He was in the Oval Office during Kennedy’s televised address during the Cuban missile crisis and was riding in the Dallas motorcade on November 22, 1963. Davis was one of three pool reporters aboard Air Force One during the swearing-in of Lyndon Johnson. Recorded November 21, 2003, and October 23, 2017.
