In the Fall of 1963, President Kennedy embarked on a two-day visit to Texas with planned stops in San Antonio, Houston, Fort Worth, Dallas and Austin. Thousands turned out to welcome the Kennedys in each city they visited, creating lasting memories now documented in the Museum’s Oral History Collection.
