Fredna Stewart film
400' reel of 8mm home movies, including JFK motorcade. Fredna Stewart filmed the Kennedy motorcade through downtown Dallas from the north side of Main Street near the corner of Main Street and Griffin Street. As JFK neared her location, someone stepped in front of her camera, blocking her view. Fortunately, she recovered quickly and stepped to the side. At the limousine's closest point, all the Kennedy and Connally heads are turned away from the photographer. Her film is short - about 20 seconds - and is on a reel with about 25 minutes of other family home movies. The film is slightly underexposed, but it's properly focused and she held the image in view fairly well.
