George Vance Oral History

Videotaped oral history interview with George Vance. As a schoolteacher in Ohio, Vance joined the Peace Corps in 1962 and was part of the first group assigned to Liberia in West Africa. After returning to the U.S. in 1964, he became active with poverty programs in Los Angeles. Interview conducted via Zoom on September 8, 2022 by Stephen Fagin. The interview is fifty-two minutes long.
