The bottom portion of the pin was once blue but has faded. The manufacturer's information is printed along the bottom edge of the pin in white: "N. G. Slater Corp, N. Y. C." There is an AFL-CIO union logo on the right edge, near the center of the pin. The back of the pin is a shiny gold color. There is a pin with a closure at the top of the button.
