A newspaper reprint of The Register newspaper of the North Carolina Agricultural & Technical College (A & T College), originally printed in 1960. The Register called itself "The Cream of College News;" this reprint dates from February 1980, the twentieth anniversary of the Woolworth's lunch-counter sit-in in Greensboro, NC. The front page is taken up with one large photograph of students at the lunch counter and the headline "Students Stage Sitdown Demand". The caption describes A & T College students' participation in the "passive sitdown" at the 40-seat lunch counter at Woolworth's.This image is not available online larger than a thumbnail to protect the copyright of its creator(s).
