Bob Huffaker Oral History

Videotaped oral history interview with Bob Huffaker. A KRLD police reporter in 1963, Mr. Huffaker broadcast the motorcade through Dallas and later covered events at Parkland Hospital. He then reported live from Dallas Police headquarters on CBS and was standing a few feet from Jack Ruby when Ruby shot Oswald on live television. In 1964, Mr. Huffaker covered the Jack Ruby trial.Interview conducted at The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza on August 3, 1994 by Wes Wise with Bob Porter. The interview is two hours and fifty-four minutes long.
