Sign reading: "Texas School Book Depository." The sign is made of metal with painted text on the surface. The text is black on a silver background. There are two holes, one on each end, that would have been used to attach the sign to a wall, and the sign measures 4" H x 42 1/2" W.This sign was recovered by Dallas County after their purchase of the former Texas School Book Depository building in 1977.
