Meet the Museum – JFK and the Dallas Civil Rights Movement

Photographs, oral histories and documents from the 1960s illustrated the local Civil Rights Movement and its effect on Dallas. Discover how the death of President John F. Kennedy, whose call for equality inspired millions, made an impact on Dallas activists. This event marked the 47th anniversary of President Kennedy’s televised national address on civil rights.
