This distinctive profile image of John F. Kennedy, which was seen on numerous pins, brochures, and posters during the 1960 campaign - including the famous "A Time for Greatness" poster (see 2015.064.0001) - was captured by the Kennedy family's personal photographer, Jacques Lowe, who also served as the Kennedys' campaign photographer in 1960. Following the election, Lowe declined Kennedy's offer to serve as official White House Photographer. - Stephen Fagin, Curator
