Watch Now: Clint Hill, Lisa McCubbin and Gerald Posner

November 14, 2023

Clint Hill, Lisa McCubbin Hill, and Gerald Posner will mark the upcoming 60th anniversary of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy with a virtual discussion. They’ll answer select questions from the public about the assassination and more.

Former Secret Service agent Clint Hill is commonly known as the man who jumped on the back of the presidential limousine after President Kennedy was shot.  He is the last surviving person who was in President Kennedy’s limousine in Dallas. Hill and his wife and co-author Lisa McCubbin Hill, have written several books including the newly re-released Five Days in November, chronicling his view of events surrounding the assassination.

Gerald Posner is an award-willing journalist and New York Times bestselling author with 13 published books. He is also the author of Case Closed: Lee Harvey Oswald and the Assassination of JFK, a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in History and a highly regarded analysis of the assassination of President Kennedy.  The Chicago Tribune writes of Posner and Case Closed: “Unlike many of the 2,000 other books that have been written about the Kennedy assassination, Posner’s Case Closed is a resolutely sane piece of work. More importantly, ‘Case Closed’ is utterly convincing in its thesis, which seems, in light of all that has transpired over the past 30 years, almost revolutionary…  we will launch the recording on the Museum’s YouTube channel on Tuesday, November 14 to coincide with the 60th Anniversary release of Clint and Lisa’s book, Five Days in November.
